BioMy name is Shalirys, but most people just call me Shal for short. It's not my real name, of course, but it's the name of my WoW character, an 80 priest on US-Burning Blade. This journal is to show how much being Shalirys has affected my life and personality. My former journal is amaya_no_yume, but I don't post there anymore, as my identity as Amaya has withered away. As much as it sounds strange, I like being "Shal". Being Shal is something that I'm good at. It is ever changing, ever growing, and being Shal has brought me much happiness that being just myself would probably not have brought. Granted, it has also brought much sadness, but I fondly look back on all my memories I've had so far as "Shal".
It might sound a little strange, but I promise it's not really a multiple personality disorder or anything. Being Shal extends my creative range into the world. Between WoW and real life, the connection opens new doors to me. Being Shal allows me to say what I want to say, and gives me the confidence to say it.
